Every year the coastal city of Alicante celebrates a date with the most modern trends in music at its International Contemporary Music Festival.

The event is organised by the Centre for the Promotion of Contemporary Music (CDMCU), and is a not-to-be-missed event for lovers of new musical styles. It aims to bring the most avant-garde creation in music to the general public, with a range of sonic proposals such as shows and instruments especially invented for the occasion.
